Under general management, performs a variety of professional librarian duties including providing information and aid to customers of all ages; planning, scheduling, and presenting programs and/or services; performing reference, readers' informational services and bibliographic instruction; building relationships with customs organizations; providing technology instruction; engaging in borough participation.  This position will piece of work with all ages but may have an emphasis on working with emerging adults (18-30).

Norick Library is named after former Mayor Ron Norick.  Norick was a visionary and the champion of the "MAPS" project which voters passed to provide funding for nine new building projects in the downtown expanse.  The library opened in 2004 in the new four-story, 114,130 square foot facility.

Access Specialist
